いよいよ運命の日

　Stephen Strasburg (09年のドラフト指名選手)との契約期限が、残り12時間に迫りました。
　
　直前まで実に静かに交渉が進んでいましたが、数日前から、①Lernerオーナー、Kasten球団社長、Rizzo暫定GMらが直接Strasburgと会見した、②1700万ドルをオファーしているという情報が入ってきました。そして、前日には、Kasten球団社長から個人的にはもっともだと思う以下のコメントが出されています。

"We have nothing but the highest regard for him. If he wants to come and begin his career right now—and do so with the largest contract ever given to any drafted player in the history of Major League Baseball—we can help him accomplish that. But if this is more about changing the whole way an industry does business, then we won’t be able to reach a deal."　

　ナショナルズファンとしては、とにかく契約してほしい。内容は問いません。祈るような気持ちです。

　果たして・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・。
